Next Stop...Manchester

Yesterday we did our first bit of travel as we headed to Manchester with the train. Richard Branson did an amazing job with his Virgin Train lines as it took us only two hours to get the Manchester from London. The main reason we are in Manchester was for me to visit the home of my favorite soccer team which is Manchester United of course. The soccer season starts today so the city is lively for the starting kick tonight.

With the help of my mom, I found a relative that lives in Manchester, Leila, who was gracious enough to have us stay at her place. Leila and her fiancée Cliff have been showing us around this big city and have taken us out for dinner and drinks to get us accustomed to the Manchester night life.

It has been wonderful so far and we are looking forward to exploring town today!

Julia: All the girls are wearing buns on their heads for their hair style. There are ballerina buns, messy buns, and top knot buns, really all sorts of buns. It seems to be really popular here this season in case you want to bring it back to Ithaca. The ballerina buns are super cute and I haven't quite figured out how they do it yet but will look more into it.

Much love,

Steph & Dino
